I believe that if a customer only needs an estimate, say for budgeting purposes or simply just to inquire, one could be provided for them via phone or email. If it is an estimate for a big job, say a re-pipe or new sewer pipe or water main, then time can be scheduled for a manager to come look at it and give an estimate free of charge.
Now if you need service that requires a knowledgeable plumber, a stocked vehicle, and an on-time appointment, so you’re not waiting around all day, then a dispatch fee is certainly justified. Our plumbers arrive at your door ready to evaluate your problem, give you a fair and honest estimate for the work needing to be done and are prepared to do the work as soon as it is authorized by you.
With this in mind we only schedule as many calls as we can complete each day and try not to overbook ourselves so that we can be to your home when promised and have time to get your plumbing repair done.
